Bruce D. Grinnell

Bruce has been in practice for over 45 years. Bruce now limits his practice to general mediation with a focus on family law cases including divorce, custody, and removal and division of marital assets. Bruce is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, one of only two full-time practicing attorneys to be admitted to the Academy in Berkshire County.

Bruce chaired a twelve million dollar capital campaign for the expansion and renovation of North Adams Regional Hospital. Bruce is a former member of REACH Community Health Foundation and a former Trustee of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Bruce graduated from Williams in 1962 and received his law degree from Boston University in 1967. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Andrew A. Caffrey, United States District Court Judge for the District of Massachusetts. Bruce is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar as well as the United States District Court for Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Bruce was an adjunct professor of law at both Boston University and Vermont Law School.
